is one time my nephew and niece mobbed me the moment I showed up at their place. They said they had just been spraying insecticide on ants. This they had done because some of those ants had bitten my niece, and so they were on a war path of retaliatory maneuvers. They wanted me to document the carnage as a testament of their military prowess. Well, I have to dignify even those in a disadvantaged position in combat. I, therefore, had to look for subjects that would show the results of that lopsided battle in a way that would preserve their self worth. Thus this portrait of one of the victim ants that looked more like a drunken specimen than a dying one.
